VILLELLA CARMELA MIRANDA (MASTROIANNI) Age 82, a Sewickley resident since 1973, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gizzeria, Prov. di Catanzaro, Italy to the late Michelino and Maria (Falvo) Matroianni. Beloved wife for 60 years to Giuseppe Villella; loving mother of Erminio Ernie Villella (Anna) of Sewickley and Maria Villella Sassi of Toronto, Canada; cherished grandmother of Rachela, Joseph, Bianca, Gabriela, Valerio, and the late Marco, who passed this same day in 1998; proud great- grandmother of Mila; sister of Ida DeGori and Esterina Sauro, both of Gizzeria, Italy, Pasquale Martroianni of Sewickley, Elena Trunzo (Rosario) of Moon Township, Silvio Mastroianni (Maria Stella) of Falerna, Italy and Elisa Incorvati (Vincent) of Moon Township. Miranda was a member of St. James Church. She loved to cook, canning and feeding all who entered her home. Visitation Wednesday 2-4, 6-9 p.m. at COPELAND'S SEWICKLEY, 702 Beaver St., where Prayers will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
