HAVEY ROBERT BOB Age 67, formerly of Baldwin and Bethel Park, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of 45 years to Regina Havey; loving father of Robert J. Havey III, Kimberly (Michael) Currykosky, Brian (Nicole) Havey, and Ann Marie (Jeffrey) Miller; grandfather of Caden and Cole Currykosky, Gavin Havey, Samantha, George and Mary Miller. Bob was born July 11, 1948, to Robert J., Sr. of Baldwin and the late Mary Patricia Havey. He is survived by his six sisters, Carolyn (Joseph) Waleko, Peggy (Fred) Matthis, Ginny Hoefler, Elaine Berrien, Debbie (the late Harry) Yoos, Rosemarie Havey; in-laws and many cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of lifelong friends. Bob began his professional career as a science teacher and his passion for education advanced him to school principal. In retirement, Bob loved to travel anywhere and everywhere in the US, Canada and Italy. During summer months, he tended to his rose garden and spending much of the fall engineering his Christmas train display. He loved golf, the Steelers, Penguins and car racing. He was an active member of St. Germaine Church. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:00.
