MARQUARD CURTIS R. Of Murrysville, PA, passed away on October 6, 2015, from pneumonia at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. The son of William and Anna (Wild) Marquard, he was born in Pittsburgh on March 15, 1929, and graduated from Wilkinsburg High School. He received bachelor's and master's degrees in business from the University of Pittsburgh and was a member of the wrestling team, of which he was a lifelong supporter. He retired in 1988 as a comptroller of the Westinghouse plant in East Pittsburgh. He served in the US Army in the early 1950s. An avid skier and golfer, he was a member of Edgewood Country Club. He and his wife traveled extensively in their motor home after his retirement and planned to settle in Florida before his final illness. Mr. Marquard was predeceased by his parents and his brother, William. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Botsai) Marquard; a sister-in-law, a brother-in- law, a niece, nephew and several grandnieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the HART FUNERAL HOME, INC., Murrysville.
