She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin. She enjoyed European travel, cooking, wine tasting and golf. She had a Master's of Business Administration and Master's of Arts and Liberal Studies both from Duquesne University. She was a daughter of Joseph and Cecelia Tillie (Gmutza) Kirch of West Mifflin; beloved wife of 22 years to Robert A. Preksta; stepmother of Courtney B. Preksta of Munhall and Christopher (Ashley) Preksta of Baldwin; grandmother of Jane and Catherine Preksta; sister of Terry Kirch of Huntington Beach, CA, Dianne (Douglas) Baxter of Bethel Park; sister-in-law of Arlene (Larry) Stevenson of Library, PA and Alberta (Rick) McClelland of Xenia, OH; aunt of Brittani Baxter and Kelsi Baxter; also survived by aunts and uncles. Visitation on Saturday, October 31, 2015, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300 where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin with Reverend Nick Mastrangelo.
