TANNER HAZEL Of the South Hills, formerly of Upper St. Clair, passed to our Lord, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Hazel was the loving wife of the late John A. Tanner; mother of Sharon (John O'Reilly), Philip (Kelly) and the late Wayne Tanner; doting Yaya of Jack and Kate Mary O'Reilly and Nicholas, Philip John and Lauren Tanner; sister of David (Celia) Gray; aunt of Suzanne Gray, Stephen (Sarah) Gray, Coral and Teagan Gray. Hazel was a vibrant lady who loved to travel and was always expanding her horizons. She traveled extensively with her late husband John, as well as close friends. Her love of learning pushed her to finish her college degree after her children were grown. As an avid bookworm Hazel spent many happy years as a library assistant with the USC Library.
