MOLDOVAN BERT M., Esq. Age 72, of White Oak, died, on Monday, November 9, 2015, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Aspinwall. He was born on June 17, 1943, in McKeesport and was the son of the late William and Leah Stein Moldovan. Bert proudly served as a lieutenant with the United States Army serving during Vietnam with the Staff Judge Advocate office. He was a 1961 graduate of McKeesport High School, a 1965 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a 1968 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with his Juris Doctor, former McKeesport Area School District Board Member, served as a Solicitor for Allegheny County, member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, member of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity (Pennsylvania Omega Kappa Chapter), member of Gemilas Chesed Congregation in White Oak, longtime member of the former Duquesne Golf Club, now known as Westwood Golf Club. He had a quick, dry sense of humor. He could finish a crossword puzzle in pen. Bert is survived by his children, Seth (Heather) Moldovan of Boynton Beach, FL, Bill (Emily) Moldovan of Roslyn Farms and Jaclyn (Michael) Macedonia of Ohio Twp.; four grandchildren, Jake, Ethan, Noah and Daphne; brother, Dr. Stanton I. (Cheryl) Moldovan of Houston, Texas; sister, Risa Moldovan of St. Charles, IL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the JENNIFER S. JORDAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 where a service will be held at 12 noon by Rabbi Moshe' Russell. Interment will follow in Old Gemilas Chesed section of Elrod Cemetery.
