PEIRCE JOSEPH H. JOE Age 96, of Country Meadows, formerly of Bethel Park, died on Friday, November 6, 2015. He was born on September 27, 1919, in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late John and Grace (Burns) Peirce. He was a 1938 graduate of Frankford High School and a 1961 graduate of Drexel University with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Joe worked for RCA from 1941 until 1982 with a break for military service in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was married for 71 years to Dorothy "Dot" Peirce, who passed away in December 2013. He was the father of Joan Bell, Deborah Pietras, Robert Peirce, and Lois Marquardt; cherished grandfather of Fran Bell, Chip Bell, Christine Wilkens, Shawn Bell, John Bell, Robert Marquardt, and Brett Marquardt; great-grandfather of Christopher Krebs, Angelea Krebs, Garrett Bell, Asheley Bell, Brady Bell, and Devin Bell. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday in BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louise de Marillac Church. Interment will be in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
