SHRIVER ADELAIDE “ADDIE” (JOHNSTON) Age 90, of Plum Borough, Pittsburgh, died on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Forbes Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Albert "Bert" and Jessie Wallace Johnston. Addie was a graduate of Penn Hills High School and was formerly employed at Community Market for several years. She formerly served as secretary for the Pittsburgh United Mine Workers. Addie enjoyed sewing, quilting, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blair "Tim" Shriver (1984); and brothers, Bernard Johnston and Wallace (Sonny) Johnston. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (John) Kondas of Plum, Sandra (William) Elkin of North East, Janice (Dean) Griffin of Reading; a sister, Darlene Johnston of Penn Hills; a brother, Ronald (Carol) Johnston of Penn Hills; a sister-in-law, Catherine Johnston; grandchildren, Tammi Elkin of North East, Tim Elkin of North East, and Jeff (Diane) Kondas of North Huntingdon; and great- grandchildren, Cole Elkin-Lexow, Jessie Elkin, Teresa Kondas, and Laura Kondas. Friends may call at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOME, 7450 Saltsburg Road, Penn Hills on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
