SEKOWSKI DONNA M. (MAJEWSKI) Age 67, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Penn Township and Wilkins Twp., died Monday, November 30, 2015, at her home, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Donna was married to her loving husband, Clare Sekowski, for 42 years. Born November 14, 1948, she was the beloved child of Evelyn (Periak) Majewski, of Monroeville and the late Stanley Majewski. She was a graduate of Gateway High School and a math major graduate of Westminster College in 1970. Donna worked as a national bank examiner for the United States Treasury, before taking on the most cherished job of her life, that of a stay at home mom to her three daughters, Beth (Jaison) Klingensmith, of North Huntingdon, Lisa (Brian) Wilson, of Export, Sarah (Dennis) Young, of Hannastown. Nothing matched her love for her five grandchildren, Hanna, Amber and Nathan Klingensmith, Lucy and Carly Young. Donna maintained many long-term friendships, some of them as long ago as grade school and was proud to count many family members as dear friends. Many years the summers were spent boating and water skiing on the Pittsburgh rivers as members of the Duquesne Canoe Club and houseboating from O'Hara Landing. Donna always enjoyed golf, playing cards and a good martini with stuffed olives in the company of friends and family. We would like to acknowledge the expert care provided by Dr. Kenneth Lee, Dr. Weijing Sun and the Hillman Cancer Center second floor chemotherapy nursing staff. Special thanks to home care nurses, Allison and Kevin, Hartland Hospice nurses, Brenda and Marty and personal aide, LuAnn. Family and friends are invited to join her husband, mother and daughters and their families for a celebration of Donna's life at the OTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, Friday 4 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin. Instead of flowers, Donna's preference was for memorial contributions to be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Dr., Delmont, PA 15626.
