WARCO STANLEY ANDREW “STUSH” Devout Catholic and Family Man. Stanley Andrew “Stush” Warco, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, December 5, 2015, unexpectedly in his home. He was born November 12, 1926, in Washington the son of the late Frank Andrew and Eva Mikuta Warco. Mr. Warco was a devout Catholic and had a strong adoration for the Blessed Mother. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the ushers club where he enjoyed his role in ushering at Mass. He was employed at Universal Cyclops in Bridgeville for 45 years retiring as a maintenance foreman. Mr. Warco was a 1945 graduate of Trinity High School where he excelled in all sports especially football and track where he played tailback and was a pole vaulter. He also played football for the Podunks football team in the West End area. He was quite an athlete. He served on the Trinity Area School board for 33 years alongside his childhood friend, Paul Belcastro. Mr. Warco served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II receiving the following citations and decorations: Honorable Service Lapel Button, Marine Corps Discharge Button and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175. Mr. Warco also worked at the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home for many years and also for Jack Kirk Livery driving hearse and limousine for many area funeral homes which he sincerely enjoyed. He was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and enjoyed watching them play. Mr. Warco was a true family man that loved his family very much and took great pride in all of their accomplishments in life. His family will miss him greatly. On September 11, 1948 he married Lois Jane Ritchie Warco who survives. Also surviving are his three sons; S. Timothy “Tim” Warco of Washington, Michael (Deanna) Warco of McMurray and Kevin (Joanne) Warco of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; a bother, Kazimer Warco of Washington; seven grandchildren, Holly Renay Warco, S. Timothy (Allison) Warco II, A.J. Warco, Megan (Ed) Moran, Matthew (Meghan) Warco, Shannon (Lee) Garrett and Alyssa Warco; two great- grandchildren, S. Timothy Warco III and Brennen Gabriel Warco. Mr. Warco was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Walter and Louis; and by two sisters, Julia and Mary Warco. Friends will be received on Monday, December 7, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. in the WARCO - FALVO FUNERAL HOME, INC., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. William P. Feeney as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. Full military rites will be accorded graveside by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 and the United States Marine Corps.
