CARPENTER DUANE D. Duane Carpenter, age 90, of Brookline, passed away December 20, 2015. Leaving behind a loving wife of 67 years, Patricia (Woody); four children, Karyn, Christine, Duane (Joyce) Carpenter, and Joan (Jeff) Slater; three grandchildren, Paul Humanic, Matthew (Ashley) and Neil Carpenter; two great- grandchildren, Riley and Makenna Carpenter; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Robert) Fausnaught; nieces and nephews, George (Carol) Maumee, Donna (Terry) Lassige, Nancy (Ray) DeLallo, Christy (Mike) Lutz, Rob (Jenn) Fausnaught, Michael and Mark Woody. He proudly served in WWII with the Army Second Division, Headquarters Co., First Battalion, 38th Regiment and was a member of the American Legion Post 490. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, 4-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
