CATANZARO R. CHRISTINE (MOORE) Age 69, of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of John Catanzaro; loving mother of Shara Catanzaro and Darren (Dana) Catanzaro; caring grandmother of Bryce, Dessa, and Caden; daughter of the late Charles and Elsa Moore; sister of Deborah Haas. Christine grew up in Butler, PA. She completed nurses' training at Allegheny General Hospital. She worked as a nurse taking care of newborns at St. Clair Hospital, and later was a school nurse for Upper St. Clair Schools in the 1980s. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school at John Knox Presbyterian Church. In 1993 she was diagnosed with leukemia and underwent a bone marrow transplant. From that time on she bravely and continuously battled back from subsequent complications with acceptance and grace, with angels all around. She was very courageous and determined to do as much as she possibly could despite her infirmities, even traveling alone to Paris. She was a gentle, selfless soul, an Angel, who never wanted to burden others, a testament to her being. She will be remembered for her unconditional love towards others.
