WINDSTEIN RAYMOND H. Loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed peacefully, on January 22, 2016, at home. Age 85, he was proud to be a former Marine and manager of numerous Giant Eagle stores throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area and a 15 year employee of the Pittsburgh Convention Center. He was a quiet, peaceful, gentle man. Ray was an avid and expert gardener who loved fishing on the Outer Banks and being surrounded by his children and grandchildren while relaxing with a cold beer. Beloved husband of Alice (Almasy); father of Raymond H., Jr. (Donna) of Lineboro, Maryland, Deb (John) Knorr of Pittsburgh and Steve (Shelley) Windstein of Pittsburgh. He is survived by four grandchildren, Michael and Anna Wolak, Stephanie and Nick Windstein; and one great-grandchild, Isabella. He is also survived by his brother, Aloysius.
