LYNCH JEANE D. Age 79, of McKeesport, died February 23, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport. Born March 21, 1936, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Gust and Helen (Karas) Skarlis, and beloved wife of the late Peter J. Lynch. While Peter served in the US Air Force, they spent many years traveling the world, which Jeane greatly enjoyed. After settling back in McKeesport, she worked at McKeesport Hospital for nearly 19 years in the medical records department. She was a longtime member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, where she served on the Board of Directors. She is survived by her sister, Fifi (the late Nicholas) Skezas; nieces and nephews, Helen "Dolly" (David) Whelan, Catherine Lobaugh, Jacob (Rula) Skezas, Constance Skezas, Stacy (Bill) Howell, Stephanie (Tom) Burt, and Dean Skarlis; also survived by many great-nieces and nephews; and her cherished poodle, Zoe. Jeane was a loving aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert (Theodora) and Nikolas Skarlis. Family and friends will be received at JAYCOX - JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY on Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 4-8 p.m., with a Trisagion Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be Friday, February 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, with additional visitation at church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. (Everyone please meet at church). Entombment will follow in McKeesport- Versailles Cemetery.
