Son of the late Clement and Virginia (Hoover) Ferchak; beloved husband of 42 years of Katherine (Lavra) Ferchak; loving father of Ronald C. (fiancée, Amy) Ferchak, Jr. and Jonathan Ferchak; brother of Karen (Charles) Tatton of IL, Jeffrey (fiancée Kim) Ferchak and Dennis (MaryAnne-Mimi) Ferchak; grandfather of Troy and Mila Ferchak; also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS - WASIK - GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC.,3501 Main Street, Munhall, Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 1:15 p.m. with Fr. Nick Mastrangelo officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh. A retired machinist from USS Homestead Works and Irvin Works, Ron enjoyed working on cars, gardening, traveling to Aruba numerous times and drinking beer with his best friend and neighbor, Bill.
