Mateer; devoted mother of John Mateer (Andrea) and George Mateer (Marcella); loving grandmother of Carrie Lambright, Beth Hill, Michelle Bowersox, and Tracey Buchman; great-grandmother of Lindsey, Sophie, Ryan, and Jared. Born in Dormont, July 26, 1925, the daughter of Leo and Florence (Berry) Kane. Mary Lou was a graduate of Dormont High School and was retired from Kauffman's Department Store, Pittsburgh, PA. She was a member of St. Winifred Catholic Church and the local AARP. Mary Lou will be fondly remembered for her love of bridge and fun loving adventurous personality. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon Tuesday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Winifred Catholic Church, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road, Mt.
