Bob's greatest passion was his family. He was dedicated and committed to his four children and fifteen grandchildren who brought him immense joy, pride and admiration, Larry, Norm, Matthew, Shayna, Ari and Dara of Cleveland, Ohio and New York, Lynda, Zachary, Courtney, Lexi and Jared of Columbus, Ohio, Jeffrey, Deborah, Mitchell, Ally and Samuel of Pittsburgh, Jodie, Steven, Max, Mollie, Ely and Jacob of Cleveland. Mar Mar and Zayda were blessed to be involved in their children's lives. It was their greatest joy celebrating holidays and Simchas in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus and Boca Raton, Florida. Bob is also survived by sisters, Polly Tannebaum of Texas and Ina and brother-in-law, Stuart Thau of New Jersey, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. In 1958, Bob joined his father in the Auto Glass business. In the ensuing years, Sharpsburg Auto Glass grew into Ryan's Auto Glass. Along with his son, Jeffrey, Ryan's Auto Glass is one of the largest independently owned and operated dealer and distribution in the tri-state region. He had passion for classic cars and a great sense of humor. Bob was committed to his religion and community. He was instrumental in the development of Jewish Youth Education and youth groups at the Parkway Jewish Center. He was constantly available to the Shul, whether on service or leadership boards, making a minyan or shoveling snow. He was a regular participant at the Friday Shabbat services. KING WILLIAM ADRIAN (Bill or Rex to his high school and college buddies), beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died January 25, 2018. He was born December 2, 1929, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late William Adrian King and Marie Trakofler King. His sister, Dorothy Monaghan Nagorski, predeceased him. He graduated from St. Fidelis High School in 1947 and St. Vincent College Seminary in 1951. Bill spent most of his adult life working in the financial industry at Mellon Bank 1956-1967, United Mercantile Agencies 1967-1969, and First Commonwealth Bank 1969 till retirement in 1994. In retirement, Bill enjoyed working in real estate. Bill married Naomi Niebel on August 26, 1961, at St. Augustine Church, Pittsburgh, at a Solemn High Mass. They raised four wonderful children. Bill was very active in the Catholic Church and in charitable and civic organizations. He was a member of Saints Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, where he sang in the choir, served as a lector, a Sunday School Teacher, and was active with the annual church bazaar for 25 years. Bill was a real life "Jack of all trades". He was skilled in woodworking, building, working with all types of tools, doing electrical work, and tinkering with anything he would get his hands on. His all-time favorite sports team was the Pirates, but he was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh teams. Bill was a very kind and thoughtful person with a genuine and engaging personality. One of his greatest loves was being with family and friends. A naturally social, people-person, Bill had a special ability to connect with anyone he met. He was an inspiration to not only his family, but also to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed. Surviving are wife, Naomi; children, Thomas (Amy) King of Erie, Anita (John) Mottillo of Meadville, Kevin of Indiana, and Kathleen (William) Ramirez of Mesa, AZ. For 15 years, she designed costumes for East Allegheny School District's musicals and specialties for their color guard, winning the Grace Kelly Award for best costume design. She enjoyed going to the theater, family beach vacations, and dining out. NAIRN HEIDI (PRICE) Age 48, of Mt. Washington, on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Beloved daughter of John L. Price, Sr. and Ethel M. (Hammerle) Price; beloved mother of Shawn Patrick Nairn and R.J. Nairn; loving sister of John (Robin) Price, Jr., Laura (John) Fisher, Karla Price, and Beverly (Mark) Protch. Heidi is also survived by uncles, Walt Hammerle (Carol) and David Young, Jr. (Joanne); nieces and nephews, Jamie, Breanna, Joey, Dean, Sefra and Salena; cousins, friends and fiancé, Michael Knier. She was a graduate of cosmetology studies from South Hills High School class of 1987. Heidi followed her passion working as a hairstylist and became the eventual owner of Chermer's Salon in Mt. Lebanon. It was here at Chermer's that her family, friends and clients would say she worked her magic. Whether it was a great haircut or just simple conversation, you always left there feeling good about yourself. Her stories were entertaining and her advice was heartfelt. She was a friend to all.
