BUTKER MARGUERITE E. Age 93, of Conneaut Lake, passed away March 24, 2018. She was born October 15, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Raymond and Minnie Wissinger Gabler. Marguerite was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education and Master's Degree in Library Science. She also held an Associate's Degree in travel and tourism. She worked as an elementary school teacher in the Wilkinsburg School District. Marguerite attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member of Penn Hills Free Methodist Church. She served one year in Taiwan with the Free Methodist Missionaries as a teacher and also took a mission trip to Caracas, Venezuela. Marguerite was also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and Meadville Medical Center auxiliary, volunteer at the Carnegie Library following retirement, for R.S.V.P., and at Meadville Medical Center. She enjoyed knitting and traveling. Survivors include four children, Frederick (Rick) Butker (Ruth) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rebecca Butker (Eugene Kirk) of Conneaut Lake, Jeffrey Butker (Colleen) of Martinsville, VA, and Russell Butker (Beth) of Apollo; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
