BRASKO CHARLES E. Age 74, Coraopolis resident and inspector for 21 years with Pittsburgh Forgings, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015, at his home, due to complications of diabetes. He is survived by his loving wife and caretaker, Veronica “Ronnie” (Szymczyk) Brasko; and his two best friends, Bob Mandara, his mailman and P.J. Snyder, his classmate. He was preceded in death by his mom, Emma (Kezmarsky) Brasko; sister, Pat Bondi; and his well-loved dog, Corky. An avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pitt Panthers, was a 1959 graduate of Coraopolis High School, loved listening to KDKA Talk Radio and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Wife of David Adelman; loving mother of Douglas "Bucky" (Connie) Diamond, Heather (Casey) Tolerico, and Amanda (Josh) Parente; grandmother of Alec, Sidney, Maya, Julia, Paytan, and Connor; sister of Dorothy "Dottie" (Dick) Ament and the late Boyd (Jeanne) Morrow; also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Sue was a talented soprano and enjoyed performing in musicals at West Virginia University and The Franklin Civic Operetta. She also enjoyed traveling the world. KUBINA JOHN Age 93, of South Park, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 15, 2015. He was born in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1922, to Joseph and Sophia Kubina. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary Kubina. John is survived by his three daughters, Shirley Botz, Ruthann Kubina, and Verna Kubina; three granddaughters, Tracy (Arthur) Johnson, Michelle Guza and Megan Guza; three great-grandsons, Ameir, Braylon, and Zavier Johnson; and great- granddaughter, Aubree Mirt. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; five sisters, Catherine Polacek, Verna Pauletich, Mary Bero, Annie Polacek and Josephine Hruby; and two brothers, Martin and Andrew Brandis. John was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, VFW member, as well as a boxer in World War II. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. HAY JAMES EDMUND “ED” Age 80, of Jefferson Hills, died November 16, 2015, at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth, from an aggressive Lymphoma. He was the son of the late James E., Sr. and Josephine (Hermes) Hay and the husband of Carolyn (Yost) Hay. Ed retired as a Research Physicist with the former Bureau of the Mines, US Department of Interior, after 32 years of service. He received his Bachelor's Degree from St. Joseph College in Philadelphia and pursued his Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Mary's Anglican Church, where he was Ordained as a Deacon in in 2003, serving for the past 12 years. In addition to his wife, Carolyn, Ed is survived by children, David P. Hay of North Huntingdon and Lynne (Joseph) Buccilli Sutton of Indianapolis, IN; granddaughter, Sofia; in-laws, Kenton (Nancy) Yost of Baldwin, Sylvia Williams of Elizabeth Twp. and Mary Ellen (Robert) Carr of Elizabeth Twp.; and many nieces and nephews. BRISBON JOSEPHINE V. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2015, age 86, formerly of Phoenix, AZ. Josephine leaves behind a loving family, her daughter, Linda West of McCandless, PA; her son, Emmitt E. Brisbon, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Worcester, MA; her daughter, Edwinna Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; and her stepdaughter, Carla Maney of Texas. She had 14 grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Josephine was born in Toneless, AZ in 1928. Throughout her life, she had an artistic streak making various crafts and jewelry. Being an entrepreneur and an excellent sales person, she ran home businesses selling her creations as well as Tupperware and Avon. She and her husband, Emmitt Brisbon (deceased), ran a neighborhood grocery store for several years before she became a member of the American Express mail room team, retiring in 1994. In 2004, she moved to Pittsburgh to live with her daughter, Linda's family. She loved dogs, old movies, Elvis and Frank Sinatra. A celebration of her life will be held in Arizona in May. FETAH CLAIRE M. (FRIEDBERG) Age 83, of Allentown, NJ, passed in peace and serenity with her loving sons, Mark and David, at her bedside on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Claire was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on December 13, 1931, where she graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School. After attending Seton Hill University, she met her devoted husband, Victor J. Fetah, Jr. and moved to Greensburg, PA, where they were parishioners at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her dear brother, Stanford Friedberg, of Murrysville, PA, Claire is survived by her daughter- in-law, Diane (Van Ness) Fetah, with grandchildren, Zachary and Matthew of Chesterfield, NJ; as well as daughter-in-law, Leah (Nollau) Fetah, of Laguna Niguel, CA, with grandchildren, Kirsten and Maximillian. Claire will forever be remembered for her caring soul and selfless spirit.
