McFALLS JOHN F. John, age 71, of Sturgeon, S. Fayette Twp., died Saturday, November 14, 2015, in the Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon. He was born February 29, 1944, in Sturgeon, the son of Francis "Chip" and Loretta Bres McFalls. Mr. McFalls was a member of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Noblestown and the Coffee Club at McDonald Pharmacy and Sil's Market. He enjoyed caring for and spending time with his family. He was previously employed by BMI as a laborer and bricklayer. Surviving are his son, John F. (Peggy) McFalls, Jr. of Canonsburg; grandchildren, John F. (Taylor Miller) McFalls III, Kaylee A. McFalls; great-grandson, Brayden M. McFalls; sisters, Frances Yerkey of Bulger and sister, Betty (Rich) Leibert of Primrose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Costa McFalls (2012); son, Brian K. McFalls (2013); sisters, Mary Nimal and Loretta Taylor. (Joyce), Emery J., William P. (Dolores), Marcie J. (Leo) Topolski, Pastor Charles E. (Lynda) and the late Geraldine M. Jacobs. Also 25 grandchildren and their spouses; 24 great- grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild; sister of Emma Hasak, Dorothy Guerra; and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late James and Theresa (Bodnar) Vargyas; and sister of the late Martha Rago and James Vargyas, Jr. She was sweet and welcoming to everyone she met, who also loved cooking for her family. Her dinner table was like the loaves and fishes as she always had enough food for all who shared her dinner table. Her card club met for over 30 years, she was a member of three bowling leagues, League of Nations, St. John's and a Monday Night league. She was a #1 Fan of the Pirates and Steelers. She could hold her own on sports knowledge, read three newspapers daily, about any team. She also served as President of the PTG at St. Anne's Elementary School for several years. Worked at her family's grocery store and then worked at Union Switch & Signal making guns for the war effort. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Elmer Holzinger and staff for the many years of care. Lonny, as she was known by her family and friends, was born in Pittsburgh on August 2, 1942. She was the daughter of the late John and Steffie Radzyminski. Lonny is survived by her three children: John (Patti) of Steubenville, OH, Michael of Pittsburgh and Michelle (Matt) Muckleroy of Morgantown, WV; four grandchildren: Kevin Platzer, and Maddy, Macy and Maria Muckleroy; sisters, Jeanne (Henry) Lachowski of Salt Lake City, UT and Arlene Kinnee (the late Mervyn) of Pittsburgh; her dear friend Michael Acendy, and many nieces and nephews. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Holy Spirit Parish in Millvale where she taught religious education for 40 years and was a member of the Christian Mothers and Women's Guild.The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at the UPMC Passavant Hospital Cancer Center and the Family Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville for the wonderful care they provided to her during her illness. MARSILIO DORIS JEAN (SPITZNAGEL) Age 67, of Scott Township, passed on Sunday, November 15, 2015, after a prolonged illness. The daughter of Adam and Florence (Seneca) Spitznagel, and the sister of John and the late Adam Spitznagel, Doris reveled in the lively exchange of ideas. As a teacher at Carlynton High School for 35 years, she taught German and Honors English and led class trips to Germany. Like her father, Doris was a talented pianist, and taught private piano lessons from her home. When her illness made it impossible for her to work full-time, she turned her efforts to her family and community. An active member of St. Simon and Jude Parish in Greentree, Doris found purpose and meaning and peace in ministering to the sick, comforting the grieving, and feeding the hungry. She gave generously of her time and talents in the service of the Lord, and her faithful and determined spirit embodied God's grace for all who had the privilege to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Florence (Seneca) Spitznagel; and by her brother, Adam (Marlane) Spitznagel, of Belle Vernon. KUTTENKULER Sr. CONSTANCE, CDP Age 79, of McCandless Twp., died peacefully at Providence Heights on November 15, 2015. Sr. Constance (formerly Sr. M. Francis Gabriel) was born August 20, 1936, in Tipton, MO. She entered the Sisters of Divine Providence on August 15, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri. Throughout her life, Sr. Connie faithfully and joyfully served God as a teacher and principal, in several schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO (Ascension, Mount Providence, and North American Martyrs), Illinois ( St. Mary's - Brussels and Madison) and St. Pius in Shreveport, LA. In 1969, Sr. Connie studied nursing and became a psychiatric technician at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois. She later served as homecare provider, and as part-time parish minister visiting the sick. Sr. Connie studied sociology and education at St. Louis University and Marillac College and later she studied nursing at Southern Illinois University. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Joseph and Alice (Fallert) Kuttenkuler; and a brother, Thomas. She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Barabour, Pat Moon and Joan Morelli of Missouri.
